Bites appear after around 1.4–2.9 seconds, with a main reaction window of 0.65–0.76 seconds. Bait is consumed on start; each spot has a 30-second cooldown.

Wild animals are different from ordinary monsters. Find a target, establish range and attack with the appropriate weapon. Defeated animals drop resources from their own category; compare the Hunting attributes available on some gear.

An animal with up to 50 max HP drops 1 item, 51–100 HP drops 1–3, and above 100 HP drops 2–5.
